Originally, it was planned that the Status Conference takes place at the Institute for Chemistry and Biology of the Marine Environment (ICBM) at the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg. However, due to the pandemic this could not be maintained. In view of the renewed tense situation, the Status Conference Research Vessels 2022 will take place as an online format instead. Here, the results of 77 scientific cruises will be presented. The conference takes place from February 22-23, 2022.

Conference Transcript of the Status Conference Research Vessels 2022

About two years after the conclusion of their cruise, Chief Scientists receive a request from the GPF office to present key scientific findings of the cruise. The scientific contributions to the conference are summarized in a conference transcript. The GPF decides on the basis of the submitted scientific contributions and during the Status Conference, whether a cruise is considered formally completed.
